Minutes from October 14, 2010 Meeting

ACT – Advancing the Community Of Tahoka, Texas

Life Enrichment Center – Tahoka, Texas

6:30 pm Quorum Present: Vernon Baker, Frances Truehart, Gloria DeLeon, Dee Dee Pridmore, Julia Allen

Meeting was called to order and Vernon led the Invocation. Minutes were unanimously approved as
presented.

Frances Truehart was welcomed as a new member of the board.

Financial report showed an approximate balance of $14,500.00.

Training for Open Meetings and Public Information Act was discussed and it was decided that we would
try to find a meeting nearby that we could all attend as this needs to be completed within 90 days of the
date of incorporation.

Discussion was opened on our initial project. It was decided that Julia would look into costs to update and revamp the Mini Park, Frances would look into the cost of Welcome signs at the 4 entrances to town and Dee Dee would look into the cost of repainting the Mural Park. Information on all three projects will be brought before the group at our next meeting.

The next meeting was set for Thursday November 11, 2010 at 6:00pm.

Frances moved that the meeting be adjourned and Gloria seconded.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:00pm.
