Minutes from May 9 , 2011 Meeting

First United Methodist Church – Tahoka, Texas

5:20 pm Quorum Present: Vernon Baker, Roger Locke, Frances Truehart, Dee Dee Pridmore, Julia Allen,

Meeting was called to order and Vernon led the Invocation. The reading of the minutes was tabled until
next meeting.

Financial report showed a balance of $35,344.79

We discussed the Mini Park – Phase 2 (construction). The first step of the construction phase will be the
playground surfacing. This was unanimously approved. We will contract with Greenstreet to do the project with the stipulation that they use local resources whenever possible. Julia will serve as project manager and may approve necessary funds for the project.

We discussed some possible names to replace Roosevelt Moore on the board. This will be discussed further at the next meeting and we will present the names to the City Council for approval.

The next meeting was set for Thursday June 30, 2011 at 5:15pm at the First United Methodist Church.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:05.
