Minutes from September 1, 2011 Meeting

ACT – Advancing the Community Of Tahoka, Texas

First United Methodist Church – Tahoka, Texas

5:20 pm Quorum Present: Vernon Baker, Julia Allen, Gloria DeLeon, Frances Truehart, Dee Dee
Pridmore, Roger Locke and Shannon Lawson.

Meeting was called to order and Vernon led the Invocation. The minutes were unanimously approved.

Financial report showed a balance of $50,453.34

Shane with Indigo Spin was present and spoke to us about marketing and branding our city. Lots of
questions were asked about what they could do for us and what we needed immediately to go forward with our projects. Shane offered his companies consulting services for $150.00 per hour and/or Brand
Development package for $1,500.00. A Logo Identity package is available for $1,000.00. After much
discussion, Vernon moved that we contract Shane to do a Logo Identity pkg and consult on an hourly basis for the sign project. We will allocate $2,000.00 for this project and Frances will head it up since her
signage project is the first to address our need for a logo. All present agreed. Shane will be ready to present some ideas to us at our next meeting.

The next meeting was set for Monday, September 26, 2011 at 5:15pm at the First United Methodist
Church.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:10.
