Jarrod Frans and Jeremy met with the board to go over some project ideas for the North Triangle. They stated the area is 80,000 square feet. They turned in an estimate of $52,125.00 to remove the grass and replace with three different types of stone covering. They estimated work would last 2-3 weeks. They also proposed an annual contract for $100.00 per year to re-spray ground killer to keep weeds and grass out of the area. They are bonded and insured. Next, David Earnest met with the board and proposed leaving most of the grass except an approximately 20 foot area around the sign, which would be rocked. He also spoke about adding in more drought resistant native plants. He gave an approximate bid of $6,000.00
and said work could be done in approximately 10 days. We asked for him to submit an annual contract to maintain the triangle which he was to get to Donnis or Julia before the City Council meeting. The board voted to ask the City Council for $50,000 to $60,000 for zero scape at North Triangle.
