Minutes from October 1, 2015 Meeting

Poka Lambro Office – Tahoka, Texas

5:15 pm Quorum Present: Dee Dee Pridmore, Jerry Ford,Jr., Carmen Chapa, Julia Allen and Donnis Scott

Meeting was called to order anD Jerry Ford, Jr. led the invocation. The minutes were unanimously approved as presented.

Financial report showed a balance of $178,819.61

Project #1

It was decided we would not pursue the concrete work at the North Triangle as is would not be visible from the highway. Donnis will get an official bid from David Earnest. We voted unanimously to ask the council for $6,000.00 for the triangle to put in sprinklers, tree removal and other landscaping.

Dee Dee was approached by Lynn County News office that Gary Jones had stated an interest in planting flowers in the Mural Park and then take care of them. They wanted to know if we would reimburse for pots and flowers. We voted unanimously to allow Gary to purchase and plant flowers, soil and pots.

Project #7

2015/2016 Little League officers were elected. Julia will get with them to see what specifications they need at the ball parks.

Julia was going to speak to City hall about the brackets that were placed last year for the Christmas banners. Some are missing and some of the poles have been slated to be changed out and we need to be sure the brackets are saved and placed on new poles.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:50 pm.
