Ports to Plains did not receive the $250 check dated August 24th. New check will be written and mailed.
Project #2
See attached proposal from IronSite. This will be discussed with the City Council and will wait on direction from them. Will be checking for grants to help fund this project.
Project #3
John Wilson discussed the rhino lining roof with Leighton and he does not think it will stick. We will move forward with what we already have. Tony Alvarez will only charge for the metal and parts, $2137.67. Dee Dee moved that we go ahead and fix the roof with the stipulation that John Wilson check the work when it is done. Second by John, unanimous. The Turbo Twister Pool slide was discussed. Will need Michelle to research for a commercial tunnel slide instead with some kind of warranty.
Project #4
Nothing to report. Jerry Webster did say a structural engineer will check the wall to make sure it is safe to take down.
Project #9
Motion made by John, second by Dee Dee to accept the Façade Program agreement with the following changes:
a. Under “Processing Steps”: Applicants may apply for improvements completed within 12 months prior to submission of this application.
b. Business Façade Improvement Program: I have or will carry out the following improvements to the exterior of my business. Will also need signs made to say paid in part by ACT Board. Will need to name a project manager to over see the Façade Projects.
c. Promotions: No report.
High Ground of Texas: Nothing to discuss.
F. Executive Director: Jerry Webster was present and had nothing new to report.
Public Forum: None
