Minutes from June 6, 2019 Meeting

Tahoka Economic Development Board held its regular Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at City Hall. The following board members were present: Bill Schoemann, Star Bray, Worth Whitworth, and Monica Stephens.

The meeting was called to order by Bill and Worth led the invocation. The minutes from the May Meeting were reviewed and approved.

The financial report was given reporting a bank balance of $362,747.14, interest earned in the amount of $306.04, and a monthly tax rebate of $6,698.72.

The Board discussed the possibility of a paid position Community & Economic Development Manager. Degree is preferred but not required for the full-time position. Bill will present the proposal to the City Council

Open discussion, acceptance of Tim Pledger’s resignation.

A motion was made by Worth and seconded by Star to adjorn. Being no further business the meeting adjourned.
