February 9, 2021

Tahoka Economic Development Board. held its regular Board of Directors meeting on  Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at City Hall.  The following board members were present: Ray Box, Joe Craig, Monica Stephens, Starr Bray, and Britt Wuensche.

The meeting was called to order by Ray and he led the invocation. 

The minutes from the previous meeting were presented, Starr made a motion to approve them and Britt seconded.

Joe presented the financial report and a budget. Monica made a motion to accept the new budget and Star seconded.

David went over a Business Grant Application. The board discussed that the address of the business is not within the City Limits. Creation of an ETJ was brought up and the board expressed interest in establishing this.

David requested that the board meet for work sessions on an as needed basis.

The final discussion for the meeting regarded moving the monthly TEDC meeting to the first Tuesday of the month with work sessions when needed

A motion was made by Joe and seconded by Monica to adjourn.

Being no further business the meeting adjourned.
