Tahoka Economic Development Board. held its regular Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at City Hall. The following board members were present: Ray Box, Joe Craig, Monica Stephens, and Britt Wuensche.
The meeting was called to order by Ray and he led the invocation.
The minutes from the previous meeting were presented, Joe made a motion to approve them and Britt seconded.
Joe presented the financial report. The board discussed using the City’s accounting software in the future.
David requested board approval to attend the Design-2-Part Show in Grapevine, TX this June. Monica made a motion to approve that was seconded by Joe.
The board reviewed suggested changes to the Grant Requirements.
City Administrator, Julie Arrington presented information from the Texas Economic Development Handbook and encouraged board members to go to the website and review the information. She suggested moving city parks under TEDC. Julie and David presented information about Downtown Strategies and the benefits of their services.
A motion was made by Monica and seconded by Joe to adjourn.
Being no further business the meeting adjourned.
