City Secretary
The city secretary is appointed by council. She is responsible for the historical preservation of municipal records, conducting lawful elections, ensuring compliance with the state Open Meetings Act and Public Information Act, and working with the city manager/administrator or city attorney to ensure the proper passing of the ordinances and resolutions. She works closely with the city manager/administrator and the city attorney to ensure compliance of all laws and procedures are followed by council and all boards and committees.

We are open Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. We are closed from 12:00pm to 1:00pm for lunch.
