Transportation
Transportation into and around Tahoka is good for commercial and certain industrial interests.
Although there is no Railroad passing through the town, it is situated along US 82. This is a wide, four-lane freeway which in the future is slated to become I-27, connecting Lubbock to the north and Big Spring to the south.
Big Spring is located along the I-20 corridor while I-27 leads north to I-40 at Amarillo. At some point, most anticipate I-27 stretching to San Antonio to provide easy access to points along the border of Mexico.
This will provide easy access for the transportation of raw goods into that nation and for finished products therefrom. Tahoka, therefore lay in an excellent position for growth.
